Welcome to the International Max Planck Research School Magdeburg!The major goal of this International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) is to provide excellent training and PhD research on the analysis, the design and the optimization in chemical and biochemical processes engineering. The IMPRS Magdeburg offers young researchers a stimulating and challenging atmosphere for education and research in a highly international and interdisciplinary environment. Based on their specific background students can select PhD topics focusing on mathematical and systems theoretical or applied aspects of modeling technical and biological processes at the forefront of current research. Students have access to state-of-the-art facilities at the Max Planck Institute Magdeburg as well as to a broad selection of basic and advanced lectures and seminars for education and training. Intensive supervision and guidance will be guaranteed by PhD advisory committees (PACs).
